The Firefighter Trained in Meisner

Alejandro currently works as a firefighter on Mallorca, and that is exactly what makes him so credible on camera. When a campaign needs reliability, teamwork or commitment, he doesn't have to invent any of it; he brings it from his everyday life. Then there is the craft: Alejandro is a trained actor who studied the Meisner technique with Nancy Tuñón in Barcelona, an approach built on genuine reactions in the moment rather than rehearsed gestures. It carries a commercial just as well as film and TV work.

Born in Argentina, he has since lived in Norway, India, Mexico, Colombia, South Africa and Canada. He has worked with agencies on four continents and knows sets, crews and production styles from very different markets. His own motto for all of it is “always with the flow”, and these days that flow has brought him to Mallorca, where he is available locally. A keen swimmer, he is as much at home in water, beach and outdoor scenes as he is in front of a studio backdrop.
