MALLORCA MODELS agency (off the beaten track, S.L.) acts exclusively as intermediary between model and client, without legal obligation for organization.

⌺ RATES AND SERVICES

 MODEL FEES: Model fee plus legal taxes refers to editorial or advertising work for one complete working day. Commercials, billboards, posters, digital displays, promotional material etc. require additional contracts depending on circulation and distribution area (local, national, European or international). Editorial work can be booked hourly (min. 2 hrs), half-day or full day.

AGENCY COMMISSION: 20% commission on model fee (10% for placement + 10% for administration, invoicing etc.) plus legal taxes.

⌺  WORKING CONDITIONS

WORKING HOURS: 8 hours between 08:00 and 18:00 + 1 hour lunch break, or by individual arrangement. Including makeup, hair and waiting time up to 8 hours.

OVERTIME: Charged at 10% of daily rate per hour. Billable time counts on set/during production.

TRAVEL EXPENSES: Travel time subject to half-day rate. Including transport, mileage from Palma €0.40/km.

ACCOMMODATION: At client’s expense, including breakfast. Daily expenses not included.

WARDROBE: Client must provide secure, private area for changing clothes and personal belongings.

⌺  OPTIONS AND CONFIRMED BOOKINGS

Options are binding reservations for maximum 3 working days. They expire automatically if not confirmed by 6:00 PM on the third working day. Multiple options are ranked by order of receipt.

Confirmed bookings are binding for both parties and will be confirmed in writing.

⌺  WEATHER BOOKINGS

With weather option: Free rescheduling to agreed backup date in unsuitable weather conditions. Models reserve both dates exclusively. Rescheduling possible until 12:00 PM the day before.

Without weather option: Weather-related cancellations incur costs according to cancellation scale, but are fully credited if replacement date with same models can be arranged.

⌺  CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellations incur standby costs:

  • 7+ days in advance: Free of charge
  • 3-7 days in advance: 30% of model fee
  • 1-3 days in advance: 50% of model fee
  • Less than 24 hours: 75% of model fee
  • No-show: 100% of model fee

⌺  IMAGE RIGHTS AND BILLING

IMPORTANT: Image rights are transferred only after full payment of invoice, according to international practices. Publication of material before payment is prohibited.

Invoices must be settled within 14 days, maximum 4 weeks. Without special agreement, rights are valid for one year from first publication.

⌺  RESPONSIBILITIES

Model is responsible for taxes and social security contributions. Client must immediately report any additional bookings, even with direct contact.

⌺  GOODWILL ARRANGEMENTS

In cases of proven illness, flight cancellations or other extraordinary circumstances, we review individual solutions.

Court of jurisdiction: Palma de Mallorca, Spain.
