Giulio – from goofy grin to grand gesture

Giulio has something you can't put on a moodboard: timing. In one shot he pulls the corners of his mouth up to his ears with both index fingers; in the next he looks into the lens so seriously you'd think he was selling a fragrance to very rich people. Both are genuine, and he delivers either one on cue. On set the mood lifts quickly around him, and you can see it in the pictures afterwards. If you need a man who is charming and believable in the same commercial, you've found him.

His background reads like a Mediterranean novel: born in Paris, half Cypriot, half Italian, raised in Cyprus. He moves between Greek, Italian and English as easily as between two looks. Giulio is a trained actor, and in his own words he acts through modelling. That is why his photos tell something rather than just show it. He also sings and dances, and yoga, swimming and calisthenics keep him in the shape you see in his beach shots.
