Maaike is the opposite of a catalogue model, and that is exactly why clients book her. She laughs with her whole face, wears her freckles like a signature and has a presence nobody needs to stage. In the Netherlands her face is already familiar from billboards and magazines, and she has stood in front of the camera for commercials.

On set she is still patient on the tenth take and thinks along when something gets stuck. She describes herself as solution-oriented and a good listener, and you notice it as soon as the camera rolls. Running, spinning, Zumba and HIIT keep her energy up, which is why fitness and wellness scenes look real on her rather than posed.

As a UGC creator Maaike works regularly with several brands, with her own ring light, iPhone 17 Pro and microphone, and her own indoor and outdoor locations in Spain and the Netherlands.
