STORY


Model with an Art Director's Eye

Yara was born in Portugal and grew up on Mallorca — she has known the island since childhood, raised between several languages and cultures. Her sensibility on set goes well beyond modeling: she studied graphic design and holds a Master's in Art Direction, which gives her a different kind of attention for composition and image idea.

On set she is more than a model. She thinks along with the team, offers solutions when something isn't working, and stays calm and attentive throughout. Bookers and photographers appreciate this combination of reliability and creative eye.

She brings five languages with her — English, Spanish, French, Portuguese and Catalan — covering international productions and multi-market campaigns. Sport is part of her everyday life: yoga, swimming and dancing. That sense of movement carries through into her images.

Together with her partner she is also bookable as a couple. And when a shoot calls for a dog, her brown Toy Poodle is ready — Yara is equally comfortable working with animals on set.
